Frequently asked questions
Answered briefly and honestly. Didn't find it? Support is happy to help.
What does DUOLEXX do?
DUOLEXX creates legally valid documents in two languages at once — the authoritative version in the country's legal language plus a translation you choose. So every party understands what they are signing.
Are the documents legally valid?
Documents follow the law of the chosen country; the local language is the authoritative version. For high-stakes cases we recommend a lawyer's review — the clauses are carefully researched but don't replace individual legal advice.
Which countries and languages are supported?
Currently Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Cyprus and Thailand — plus a free choice of law. The interface is available in German, English, Spanish and French; documents in further languages too.
How does the electronic signature work?
Both parties sign with a simple electronic signature (SES, eIDAS Art. 3(10)). The content is frozen and hashed on first signature — so it's provable that both signed the same wording. The counterparty signs via a link, without an account.
What does DUOLEXX cost?
The wizard and preview are free. A finished document costs €14.90, a blank template €9.90. For unlimited documents and the API there's Pro from €19/month.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it out — you can fill in as a guest. To save, pay and sign you create a free account; your entries so far are kept.
Can the other side read and sign without an account?
Yes. You share a link (WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or copy); the counterparty reads the document and signs directly — no sign-up.
Is my data safe?
Your documents belong only to you (access controlled per document), unpaid previews are copy-protected, and sensitive server keys stay strictly server-side. More on the Trust & security page.
Is there an API or AI integration?
Yes — via the DUOLEXX API and an MCP server you can create, fill and sign documents programmatically and through AI agents. Both are part of Pro.
