Not one language per country — both sides read the same binding version

Template shops give you a French-only or English-only version. DUOLEXX generates both in a single document, grounded in France civil law — the receiving party understands exactly what they sign and it stays enforceable in France.

Governing Language Version

This document consists of two language versions. In the event of any discrepancy or question of interpretation, the version in the governing legal language (Français) shall prevail; the English version is a translation provided for convenience.

Frequently asked questions

Can my agent sell my house or property under this power of attorney?
Not under a power drafted in general terms — that covers only acts of administration. To sell or mortgage, the mandate must be express (mandat exprès) (Code civil, art. 1988) (as of 1804).
Am I bound by what my agent does?
Yes, by every commitment made within the power you granted; beyond it only if you ratify it expressly or tacitly (Code civil, art. 1998) (as of 1804).
Can I revoke the power of attorney?
Yes, whenever you see fit; you can also require the agent to return the instrument (Code civil, art. 2004) (as of 1804).
What ends the power of attorney automatically?
Revocation, the agent's renunciation, and the death, adult guardianship (tutelle) or insolvency of either the principal or the agent (Code civil, art. 2003) (as of 2009).
Does the agent get paid?
No, the mandate is gratuitous unless the parties agree otherwise (Code civil, art. 1986) (as of 1804).
Is this legal advice?
No. This is general information and not legal advice; for your specific situation, please consult a lawyer.

Why DUOLEXX instead of just asking an AI?

An AI writes text fast. That doesn't make it legally sound, bilingual and ready to sign. That's exactly the difference.

Grounded in local law

Every document follows the law of the chosen country — researched clauses, not a generic template from the web.

Authoritative language + translation

The binding version in the legal language, alongside an understandable translation. A chat rarely delivers both, soundly, at once.

Verifiable signature

Two-party signature with a SHA-256 integrity proof — provable that both signed the same wording.

Finished, not just text

PDF, signature, archive and share link in one flow — an AI chat only hands back raw text.
