How long is my notice period?

How much paid annual leave do I get?
At least 20 working days for a five-day week, or 24 working days for a six-day week, in addition to public holidays — Annual Holidays with Pay Law 8/1967, as of 1967.
How many hours can I be asked to work and what is the minimum wage?
Average weekly working time including overtime must not exceed 48 hours, and full-time pay must be at least EUR 1,088 gross per month after six months of employment — Organisation of Working Time Law 63(I)/2002 and Minimum Wage Law, Cap. 183, as of 2026.
What is deducted from my salary?
You pay 8.8% of your insurable earnings as your own social insurance contribution, with the employer paying an equal 8.8% — Social Insurance Law, as of 2024.
When am I entitled to a redundancy payment?
The right to a redundancy payment arises only after at least 104 weeks (two years) of continuous employment — Termination of Employment Law 24/1967, as of 1967.
