Not one language per country — both sides read the same binding version

Template shops give you a German-only or English-only version. DUOLEXX generates both in a single document, grounded in Austria labour law — employee understands exactly what they sign and it stays enforceable in Austria.

Governing Language Version

This document consists of two language versions. In the event of any discrepancy or question of interpretation, the version in the governing legal language (Deutsch) shall prevail; the English version is a translation provided for convenience.

Frequently asked questions

What notice periods apply?
For employer-initiated dismissal of salaried employees the base period is 6 weeks and increases with length of service (2 months from the 2nd year, 3 from the 5th, 4 from the 15th, 5 from the 25th year); notice generally takes effect at the end of a calendar quarter (AngG § 20 para 2). If the employee resigns, the period is 1 month to the end of the month (AngG § 20 para 4).
What are the normal working-time limits?
Statutory normal working time is 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week; a collective agreement may set a shorter normal working time (AZG § 3).
How much paid leave is there?
Annual paid leave is 5 weeks (25 working days on a five-day week) and rises to 6 weeks after the 25th year of service is completed (UrlG § 2 para 1).
Does this document replace legal advice?
No. This is general information and not legal advice; the German version is binding and the English version is a reading aid. All figures rely solely on the cited Austrian statutes (as of July 2026); for your specific case please consult a qualified lawyer.

Why DUOLEXX instead of just asking an AI?

An AI writes text fast. That doesn't make it legally sound, bilingual and ready to sign. That's exactly the difference.

Grounded in local law

Every document follows the law of the chosen country — researched clauses, not a generic template from the web.

Authoritative language + translation

The binding version in the legal language, alongside an understandable translation. A chat rarely delivers both, soundly, at once.

Verifiable signature

Two-party signature with a SHA-256 integrity proof — provable that both signed the same wording.

Finished, not just text

PDF, signature, archive and share link in one flow — an AI chat only hands back raw text.
